Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga votes in Hanoi

After witnessing the inspection and sealing of the ballot boxes, Ms. Ha Thi Nga directly exercised her citizens' rights and responsibilities.

Talking to PV of Lao Dong Newspaper about the significance of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and deputies of People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, Ms. Ha Thi Nga said: "It can be said that the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and deputies of People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term took place from the very first moments and was very wonderful, favorable timing, geographical advantage, and people's harmony.

This election is very important, voters nationwide will choose their deputies, representing their rights and voices to bring to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, contributing to building laws and promulgating mechanisms and policies to develop the country in the new period.

Today's election is a meaningful start for the country to enter a new era, an era of prosperous development for the nation.

When asked about the message sent to voters nationwide to encourage people to participate in the election, Ms. Ha Thi Nga said: "Election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term is the right, obligation and also the honor of each voter. I hope voters will spend time going to polling stations to exercise their rights, contributing to electing deputies representing their voice and legitimate aspirations. Voters should spend time studying the biographies of candidates, thereby choosing to elect deputies with heart, talent, who are deputies with high action to fulfill the mission of being representatives of the people, reflecting the voice and aspirations of the people to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

Sharing about his feelings, Mr. Pham Minh Trong - born in 1942 said: "I am 84 years old this year. I have participated in many votes, the later I go, the better the preparation work is compared to the previous time, according to the development of the country. This election takes place in the context of the country implementing digital transformation, so I clearly see the progress and modernity. My constituency has prepared carefully and responsibly. People are very excited.

Speaking about the wishes and expectations of the people when going to the election, Mr. Pham Minh Trong said: "This election, I see that the candidates in the voter contact conference all have rich and complete action programs, close to the reality of life, with solid promises. After this election, for the elected candidates, I hope they have promised to do it, do it thoroughly, with results.
