Lam Dong - On the way to work, Ms. Linh picked up a wallet containing more than 26 million VND and brought it with her husband to the police to hand over, asking to find the owner to return it.

On the afternoon of March 12, Nam Da Commune Police said that the unit had just coordinated with Mr. and Mrs. Ho Thi My Linh (36 years old) and Mr. Phan Van Vien (47 years old), both residing in the locality, to complete procedures to return property to the person who dropped it.

The person who received the above property back is Ms. Tran Thi Y Nhi (41 years old, residing in Nui Thanh commune, Da Nang city).

Previously, on March 8, on her way to work, Ms. Linh discovered a brown leather wallet dropped by the roadside. After picking up the wallet, she checked inside and found 26.6 million VND but no personal papers.

After that, Ms. Linh took the wallet home and together with her husband, Mr. Phan Van Vien, went to the Nam Da Commune Police headquarters to hand it over, asking for support in verifying the person who dropped it to return it.

Immediately after receiving the information, Nam Da Commune Police took verification measures and announced the search for the person who lost property.

By professional measures, the police quickly identified the owner of the wallet as Ms. Tran Thi Y Nhi and contacted her to return the property.

Receiving her wallet and all the money back, Ms. Nhi expressed her emotion and sent sincere thanks to Mr. Vien and Ms. Linh; and thanked Nam Da Commune Police for helping to find the lost property.

Currently, Nam Da Commune Police have completed the proposal and sent it to the Commune People's Committee to promptly commend and reward the beautiful actions of Mr. Vien and Ms. Linh.
