Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ca Mau province hands over 50 "Grand Unity" houses
Ca Mau - On November 16, in Hung Hoi commune, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province held an inauguration ceremony and handed over 50 "Grand Unity" houses to people in difficult circumstances.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, informed: This is a project to celebrate the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province. 50 "Grand Unity" houses handed over this time are worth 3 billion VND, sponsored by the Vietnam State Bank Trade Union. From this amount, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province allocated to 24 communes to build 50 houses, the commune had the most 3 houses, the commune had at least 1 house (each house worth 60 million VND).
Many creative or practical methods have been implemented such as: Assigning to households, assigning to relatives of households to receive self-construction funds, the People's Committee of the commune disburses according to progress, the Hamlet Front Working Committee supervises; the commune guarantees the supplies store, households come to receive construction materials, each time receives a value for each type of material for households to monitor.
Notably, the management of funds is strictly implemented, without losses; households all contribute extra working days, additional money due to ownership or support from relatives, so the house is more spacious.
Ms. Huynh Ngoc Tham, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hung Hoi Commune, Ca Mau Province, said: The 50 "Great Unity" houses completed and handed over are not only shelters to protect against the rain and sun, but also a vivid symbol of the spirit of mutual love and solidarity, the deep concern of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province and the State Bank of Vietnam for households with housing difficulties in the communes.
Sharing after the "Great Unity" house was built and handed over, Mr. Son Na Ret, saltwater Hamlet, Hung Hoi Commune was moved to thank the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau Province and the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Hoi Commune for considering building a house for the family. This is the motivation for the family to continue to strive for production labor to improve their lives.
