Vice President attends Patriotic Emulation Congress of Ca Mau province
Ca Mau - At the congress, the First Class Labor Medal was awarded to the Party Committee, government and people of Ca Mau province.
On November 2, Ca Mau held the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025 - 2030), Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council - attended and spoke at the congress.
At the congress, Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province - said that the patriotic emulation movements in the past time in Ca Mau have been well implemented; many typical examples in the movements have aroused patriotism and applied it effectively in life. Each field has a specific movement that has spread widely.
Speaking at the congress, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan praised the achievements that Ca Mau has achieved in patriotic emulation movements.
To make the patriotic emulation movement more effective and more widespread, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan suggested that in the coming time, Ca Mau province needs to focus on emulation movements so that the Party and State's policies and guidelines on patriotic emulation are implemented in the specific conditions of the locality, agency, and unit; launch and organize the implementation of patriotic emulation movements in a practical and effective manner, avoiding formal forms, with clear goals, specific criteria, and in accordance with reality, creating products of value to society.
At the congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, together with the leaders of Ca Mau province, launched a patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030. In particular, focusing on building socio-economic tasks; building a friendly Ca Mau culture and people.
The Congress also approved the list of 23 delegates attending the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress. Notably, there are 2 Chairmen of grassroots trade unions of non-state enterprises in this list.
In the past 5 years, Ca Mau province has had more than 300 collectives and individuals awarded Medals, more than 500 collectives and individuals awarded Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit from the Government, along with tens of thousands of typical examples commended and rewarded by the province. In particular, with outstanding achievements in socio-economic development, Ca Mau province was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal from the President.
