Lam Dong strongly spreads the spirit of the first General Election
Lam Dong - The Provincial Fatherland Front disseminated the significance of the first general election, raising responsibility in electing 16th National Assembly deputies for nearly 300 cadres.
On January 6, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province announced that it had organized a propaganda and dissemination on the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026).
Nearly 300 cadres and civil servants of the agency have a deep understanding of the historical significance of the first General Election - an important event, a brilliant milestone, marking an important step in the development of the Vietnamese democratic institutions, opening a new period of development for the country.
The program also analyzed the achievements and lessons learned from the Vietnamese National Assembly over 80 years of formation and development; the role of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels in the renovation process.
Promoting that spirit, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province deploys a key task to serve the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, focusing especially on propaganda work on the significance and importance of the election after the arrangement of administrative units and the operation of two-level governments.
The unit also emphasized the role and responsibility of the front at all levels and front cadres in the consultation, introduction of candidates, mobilization of voters to participate and supervision of the election.
