Long Giang Industrial Park occupies nearly 90% of the area

On January 14, the working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province led by Mr. Phan Van Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province - visited and worked with many units and enterprises in Long Giang Industrial Park.

At Long Giang Industrial Park Development Company Limited - a business exploiting and trading Long Giang Industrial Park, the delegation was very happy to know that the industrial park had attracted 63 projects, with an occupancy rate of nearly 90%.

It is known that Long Giang Industrial Park was established in November. 2007, with an area of 540 hectares. According to preliminary statistics, the revenue of enterprises in industrial parks in the province reached about 3.2 billion USD. Long Giang Industrial Park accounts for about 54% of the total industrial production revenue of the whole province; contributing more than 504 billion VND to the state budget.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited Apache Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. and BestWay Vietnam Sports and Entertainment Products Co., Ltd.

At each destination, the delegation listened to businesses report on the situation of operations, production, business and recommendations on many practical support contents, such as: Support and guidance on procedures for installing solar power; support to remove difficulties in recruiting workers, especially workers with appropriate skills; remove difficulties in investing in ports...

After listening to the report, Mr. Phan Van Thang highly appreciated the production and business results of enterprises in the past time, which have contributed positively to the socio-economic growth of the province. Recognizing the difficulties and recommendations of businesses, Mr. Thang affirmed that Dong Thap province identifies the province's consistent goal as towards the strong growth and sustainable development of the business community, considering this an important driving force to promote rapid and sustainable growth. Therefore, the entire political system of the province always pays attention to closely grasping the operational situation of enterprises, focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles quickly and promptly.

At the meeting, Mr. Thang also assigned specific tasks to relevant departments, branches and localities to focus on resolving the issue according to their authority. At the same time, Mr. Thang also suggested that businesses proactively report in a timely manner for competent agencies and departments to consider and support.
