Hai Phong supports Bac Ninh with 3 billion VND to overcome the consequences of storms and floods

On October 13, the Hai Phong City Working Group led by Mr. Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee visited, encouraged and supported the people of Bac Ninh province to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods.

In recent days, due to the impact of storms No. 10 and 11, many localities in Bac Ninh province have been flooded, greatly affecting production and people's lives. Sharing with the people of Bac Ninh province, on behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong city, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee Pham Van Lap presented 3 billion VND to the Bac Ninh Provincial Relief Fund.

This gift contributes to helping people in areas affected by storms and floods quickly restore production and stabilize their lives.

Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee Pham Van Lap emphasized that in recent days, the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong City have always turned to the people in many localities who are suffering heavy losses due to storms and floods.

By joining hands and sharing, Hai Phong city has actively mobilized donations and supported people affected by storms and floods, including Bac Ninh province.

Mr. Pham Van Lap hopes that households in areas affected by storms and floods in Bac Ninh province will continue to promote the spirit of "mutual love and support", focus on overcoming the consequences, and soon return to normal operations after storms and floods.

Receiving the support, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Huong thanked the good feelings of the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong city for Bac Ninh province.

Ms. Huong expressed that the joint efforts of Hai Phong city demonstrate the spirit of "mutual love and support", contributing to strengthening solidarity and cohesion between the two localities.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province to quickly review and allocate support funding to localities and households affected by storms and floods to ensure publicity, transparency and timeliness. The goal is to prevent people from falling into prolonged difficulties, helping people quickly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, stabilize their lives and restore production.

Also on this occasion, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation presented 150 million VND to support people in Bac Ninh province to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods.

Millions of arms turn to compatriots affected by storms and floods

Consecutive storms No. 8, 9.10 (Bualoi) and floods caused by the storm have killed, left missing, and injured 165 people; many houses and production and business establishments have had their roofs blown off and suffered heavy damage. People across the northern mountainous provinces and the central provinces are struggling to cope with floods and heavy losses in human lives and property due to floods and thunderstorms.
