Introducing overseas Vietnamese to join the Fatherland Front Committee

On September 10, the Government Office announced that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had just signed Official Letter No. 1121/TTg-QHDP on coordinating and facilitating the organization of the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) and socio-political organizations at all levels.

The document clearly stated: The Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels and the National Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front are events of very important socio-political significance, held immediately after implementing the policies, resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat on streamlining the apparatus of the political system and local government organizations at both levels.

This is a special milestone when the socio-political organizations have been unified and arranged under the Vietnam Fatherland Front; an extensive political activity, a congress of the great national unity bloc, encouraging and cheering on all classes of people, strongly arousing the spirit of patriotism and the aspiration to contribute to building and developing the country in the new era.

To implement this event, the Prime Minister requested ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and cities to strengthen coordination and create conditions for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees and socio-political organizations to organize a practical and widespread emulation movement, achieving achievements to celebrate the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and socio-political organizations at all levels, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic goals.

Closely coordinate, support and create the most favorable conditions for the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to organize well the Congresses at the provincial and commune levels and the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Congress of socio-political organizations for the 2026-2031 term to ensure solemnity, economy, practicality, efficiency, and progress.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinates with the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in foreign information work; directs Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to create conditions for overseas Vietnamese to look forward to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, socio-political organizations at all levels.

At the same time, coordinate the selection and introduction of personnel who are representatives of overseas Vietnamese to participate in the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee members at all levels.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with relevant agencies to direct news agencies and newspapers to strengthen propaganda work before, during and after the Congress.

The Prime Minister requested the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to direct the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels to closely coordinate with local authorities and relevant ministries and agencies in carefully preparing and effectively implementing tasks to serve the organization of Congresses at all levels towards the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term, ensuring quality and time according to regulations.
