Bank union members in Lam Dong donate nearly 144 million VND to help people in flooded areas
Lam Dong - Union members of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Binh Thuan branch joined hands to donate nearly 144 million VND to help people in flood-affected areas.
On November 28, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province received 143,947,586 VND contributed by union members and employees of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) - Binh Thuan branch.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - on behalf of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee received the donation.
This is the amount of money contributed by union members and employees of the Vietcombank Trade Union, Binh Thuan branch to share difficulties with people affected by the recent floods.
Speaking at the reception ceremony, Mr. Hoang expressed his gratitude to the Board of Directors, union members and employees of the unit. This is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, joining hands with the locality to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize people's lives.
Mr. Hoang also suggested that the Vietcombank Binh Thuan branch's grassroots trade union continue to cooperate with the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation in trade union activities. Thereby, strengthening care for union members and promoting the role of trade unions at the unit.
