Da Nang organizes "Spring Connection - Vietnamese Tet Flavor" to give gifts to poor women

The program is designed as an open space, vividly recreating "Old Tet in the heart of the city", creating a cultural meeting point, connecting the community during the spring.

The program space is imbued with traditional spring colors with banh chung cooking activities, experiencing rural markets, enjoying Bai Choi folk art and check-in corners to capture Tet moments. Many familiar dishes of Quang region are introduced, contributing to recreating the Tet flavor in modern urban life.

At the program, the Da Nang City Women's Union presented nearly 1,000 gifts including cash, confectionery, food, livelihood support, bicycles, pushcarts for garbage collection and health insurance cards. Beneficiaries are poor women's union members, women in difficult circumstances and women working as scrap collectors. The gifts show practical sharing, helping women celebrate a warmer Tet.

Vice Chairman of Da Nang City Women's Union Dang Thi Bao Trinh said that the program aims to introduce traditional Tet, educate the young generation to appreciate family and homeland values; and at the same time combine giving gifts and supporting livelihoods for women in difficult circumstances.

Within the framework of the program, there are also activities to display and introduce OCOP products, regional specialties, green - clean - safe products and women's startup products, associated with livestream sales, contributing to product promotion and promoting community consumption.
