An Giang - Through the voter contact conference, National Assembly deputy candidates listened to and recorded many opinions and recommendations close to the reality of life.

On March 10, at the Hall of Nguyen Trung Truc 1 High School (Rach Gia ward, An Giang province), a meeting with voters took place for candidates for the 16th National Assembly, term 2026–2031 of Election Unit No. 1 to meet and listen to voters' opinions in the area.

After listening to the action program, many voters expressed opinions and recommendations related to people's lives, transportation, health, education and social issues.

Voter Pham Huu Thanh expressed concern about the level of traffic violation penalties, some violations are still quite high compared to the income of workers. In addition, voters also proposed that the inspection and handling of traffic violations should be transparent and in accordance with regulations; and at the same time pay attention to the culture of behavior of the task force, avoiding unstandard images that cause public outrage.

Voters also proposed to strengthen the application of camera systems and "cold fines" to limit cases of chasing violators that may lead to accidents. In addition, voters reflected the situation of some celebrities advertising products that are not true, affecting the rights and health of consumers; and at the same time requested functional agencies to strengthen inspection and supervision of food safety and hygiene work.

Voter Hoang Van Khuong proposed that levels and sectors pay attention to surveying and soon invest in upgrading damaged and degraded roads to create convenience for people to travel. Voters also proposed that the health sector consider reorganizing the process of dispensing medicine and taking samples for testing at Kien Giang General Hospital to reduce overload and shorten patient waiting times.

Voter Tran Van Men proposed that the National Assembly and functional agencies pay attention to stabilizing market prices in the context of many essential goods increasing in price, while people's incomes are still low. Voters also expressed concern about the increasingly complex crime and social evils among teenagers, wishing for stronger solutions to educate, manage and orient the young generation. In addition, voters proposed that the State pay attention to raising allowances for grassroots cadres such as neighborhood heads, hamlet heads and local mass organizations, because currently the managed area is wider after the merger, but the support level is still low, causing many difficulties in the working process.

Voter Vu Huy Khuong proposed considering creating conditions for people with meritorious services to the revolution to register for initial medical examination and treatment directly at the Provincial General Hospital as before, avoiding having to carry out many transfer procedures that cause trouble. Voters also reflected on the situation of raising swallows in residential areas causing noise and affecting people's lives.

Regarding opinions related to health, noise environment, swiftlet farming in residential areas, security and order, high-tech crime, market prices and policies for grassroots officials..., Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai said that he will record, receive and forward to functional agencies for consideration and resolution.

Regarding the reflection on the overload situation at Kien Giang General Hospital, he said that he would propose that the provincial health sector study solutions to improve the medical examination and treatment process, reduce waiting times, and create more convenience for people.
