On March 6, candidates running for National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, term 2026 - 2031, constituency No. 2, An Giang province had a meeting to listen to the thoughts of voters in Phu Lam and Cho Vam communes.

Mr. Luong Quoc Doan emphasized his commitment that if he is trusted by voters to be re-elected, he himself will be closely attached, listen truthfully to all opinions, recommendations and even voters' grievances to promptly reflect to the National Assembly. At the same time, he will proactively work with ministries and sectors to promote the resolution of issues that people are concerned about.
Throughout the action program, Mr. Luong Quoc Doan focused on removing "bottlenecks" in agricultural and rural development. The comrade affirmed that he will advise the Party and State on more practical policies to support farmers, especially in promoting agricultural production and consumption and improving the living standards of residents in remote and isolated areas.

At the conference, voters of Phu Lam and Cho Vam communes frankly expressed their high agreement with the action program of the candidates. However, besides the excitement, people also sent many thoughts about the degraded traffic infrastructure and the precariousness of the agricultural economy in the locality.
Voter Nguyen Thanh Liem (Phu Lam commune) expressed his expectation for the role of the Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union in changing the face of agriculture in the Mekong Delta (Mekong Delta).
Mr. Liem said that farmers in the Mekong Delta are currently very disadvantaged because agricultural product prices are unstable, and farmers are almost unprofitable. Mr. Liem also proposed that elected delegates should propose to the National Assembly to have a specialized resolution on agricultural development in the Mekong Delta and soon study the Law on 2-level local government to create a breakthrough development mechanism for the region.
Voter Nguyen Van Quy (Phu Lam commune) shared about the difficulties in goods circulation when key roads such as National Highway 80B connecting road N1 have seriously deteriorated.
Mr. Quy expressed that Phu Lam farmers live on sticky rice and crops, but narrow roads and difficult ferry bridges make it difficult to consume agricultural products. He hopes to propose early upgrading of National Highway 80B and building Tan Chau - Hong Ngu bridge to create a development axis and attract investment to An Giang.
In addition, voters also proposed many pressing issues such as: reforming the textbook system, being drastic in preventing and combating corruption, and reforming administrative procedures such as paying traffic violation fines in the locality instead of having to go far to Long Xuyen...
