Voters expect the action program of National Assembly deputies to become concrete actions
Can Tho - Voters highly appreciate the spirit of "looking straight at the truth" of the 16th National Assembly deputy candidates, hoping to be implemented through specific actions.
On the afternoon of March 5, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City coordinated with the People's Committees of Phu Loi ward, Soc Trang ward and My Xuyen ward to organize a meeting and contact with voters between candidates for the 16th National Assembly (Unit No. 6) and voters.

After listening to the brief biography introduction and 5 candidates presenting the action program, voters in 3 wards highly appreciated the spirit of "looking straight at the truth, telling the truth" of the candidates when proposing the action program.
Voters expressed their hope that if elected, the delegates will fulfill their commitments, match words with deeds, and turn the action program into specific actions so that people can clearly feel the effectiveness in reality.


Voters also proposed that in the process of economic development, it is necessary to focus on parallel with the development of culture, education, science and technology, building a civilized lifestyle; strengthening law enforcement...

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Lam Van Man - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council - said that Can Tho City is a locality with rich revolutionary traditions, identified by the Central Government as the driving force for development of the Mekong Delta region and also a place with a large number of ethnic and religious people living.
With many years of experience working in the locality and 5 years as a National Assembly deputy, Mr. Man said that if he continues to be trusted by voters to elect National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, he will focus on performing well the functions of the National Assembly; promptly reflecting the opinions and aspirations of voters and working with the City National Assembly Delegation to act as a bridge between the locality and the National Assembly, Government and central ministries and branches to propose and mobilize investment resources, effectively exploit the potential and expand the new development space of the city after the merger.
