Commune police in Lao Cai bring 2 students who accidentally dropped out of school back to their families safely

According to the Ministry of Public Security, on January 7, 2026, Tan Linh Commune Police (Lao Cai Province) promptly coordinated with the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security to prevent and support the return of 2 students who voluntarily dropped out of school and left the locality to work for hire to their families safely.

Earlier, on the morning of January 3, the two children H.T.K. and L.T.H (both born in 2011, residing in Tan Linh commune, Lao Cai province) arbitrarily dropped out of school, invited each other to leave the locality to work for hire in Bac Ninh province without informing the family, without leaving contact addresses, causing relatives to worry.

Immediately after receiving the report, Tan Linh Commune Police promptly deployed measures to collect information and review the children's travel routes.

During the verification process, the authorities determined that the two children were traveling on a bus to Bac Ninh province. Tan Linh Commune Police coordinated with the Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security to stop the vehicle for inspection at Km6 of Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway and promptly prevented the children from continuing to leave the locality, while supporting the vehicles and expenses for the family to pick up the children back safely.

In response to the timely and responsible support of the police force, the families of the two children sent a letter of thanks to the Tan Linh Commune Police, expressing their gratitude for the responsible and dedicated spirit of the unit's officers and soldiers.
