Handing over 25 more houses in the Quang Trung Campaign in Lam Dong
Lam Dong - In localities in Lam Dong province, 25 more houses in the Quang Trung Campaign were inaugurated and handed over for use.
On January 12, the People's Committee of D'ran commune held an inauguration ceremony for 17 houses belonging to the "Quang Trung Campaign" for households affected by natural disasters.
Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Thanh Ha Nie K dam, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and local departments, branches and sectors attended the handover ceremony.
According to Chairman of D'ran Commune People's Committee Dinh Viet Dung, during the recent flood, the locality suffered heavy damage. Floods and rains damaged more than 550 hectares of crops, hundreds of livestock and poultry, and 137 hectares of greenhouses and net houses.
The whole commune had 46 houses severely damaged, of which 17 were completely collapsed and 29 were severely damaged.
With the support of the Central Government and Lam Dong province, D'ran commune has completed the repair of 29/29 damaged houses before December 31, 2025; at the same time, started construction of 17 new houses, and has so far completed 16 houses. The remaining house is expected to be completed before the Lunar New Year 2026.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Vo Ngoc Hiep said that in 2025, natural disasters caused serious damage in many localities. During the year-end natural disaster alone, the whole province had 41 houses that collapsed, collapsed, or drifted and had to be rebuilt.
With the spirit of "no one is left behind", Lam Dong province has urgently launched and implemented the "Quang Trung Campaign" with rapidity, determination, and rich in humanistic significance.
After a short period of implementation, all 41 damaged houses were rebuilt with a total support cost of nearly 5 billion VND; 84 other houses were repaired with a cost of nearly 1.7 billion VND.
The inauguration ceremony is not only about handing over the house but also demonstrates a sense of responsibility, sharing and affection.
The completion of the projects in a short time, ensuring quality and safety, and putting them into use before the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026 has important political and social significance, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
On this occasion, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee commended Military Region 7, the Department of Construction and departments, branches and localities for closely coordinating, urgent construction, ensuring progress and quality of the project; and congratulated households receiving new houses.
On the same day, Lam Dong province also held an inauguration ceremony for the "Quang Trung Campaign" house for 2 households in Nam Da commune and 6 households in Ham Thang ward that suffered damage due to natural disasters.
