Ms. Chau Hong Hoa becomes Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa commune, Can Tho city
Can Tho - Ms. Chau Hong Hoa was elected as Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa commune for the 2025 - 2030 term.
On September 18, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Thuan Hoa commune held the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune, term 2025 - 2030, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Development".

From the beginning of the 2024 - 2029 term until now, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune has demonstrated its role and responsibility in gathering the great national unity bloc, organizing the basic implementation of the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution.
Accordingly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune coordinated with member organizations to conduct 63 propaganda sessions, with 4,785 participants. Social security policies are implemented synchronously, promptly, and to the right subjects. 147 houses, with a total amount of 6.69 billion VND, have been newly built for policy families, poor households, near-poor households, and disadvantaged households. Implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, 100% of the plan was completed.

Religious activities within the framework of law. The campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas - Civilized urban areas" is increasingly coming into life and practice. The campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" attracted 18,674 enthusiastic respondents.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - acknowledged and praised the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, flexibility and creativity of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thuan Hoa commune in the past term.

In the new term, the general context poses many opportunities and challenges, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune should strengthen its role as a bridge, proactively grasp the people's thoughts and aspirations; Promote the strength of the great national unity bloc. At the same time, promote patriotic emulation movements associated with people's lives; Strengthen training and fostering full-time cadres, especially young cadres, ethnic and religious people with enthusiasm, capacity and courage to meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.

The Congress agreed on 11 main targets and 6 action programs for the new term; and consulted to elect the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa commune, term 2025 - 2030, including 61 members.
At the first meeting, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune jointly elected the Standing Committee and the positions of chairman and vice chairman. Ms. Chau Hong Hoa holds the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Hoa commune, term 2025 - 2030.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City directly awarded 10 scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies in the commune, each worth 1 million VND. In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune also received many support sources including scholarships, meals, and rice from TKG TaeKwang Can Tho Co., Ltd. and Phuoc Thuan pagoda.
