On February 7, 2,000 students and workers in difficult circumstances left Ho Chi Minh City to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet on the "Spring Bus - Reunion Tet 2026".
Spring Bus - Reunion Tet 2026" is part of a series of activities to care for Tet for students, pupils, and disadvantaged workers studying and working in Ho Chi Minh City.
The program is organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the City Youth Union, the Vietnam Student Association of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Student Cultural House in coordination with individuals and units.
This year, 2,000 students and workers in difficult circumstances were given free bus tickets.
In addition to supporting free bus tickets, students and workers are also given a Tet gift worth 500,000 VND.

The "Spring Bus Trip" program was initiated and implemented annually by the City Student Support Center (now Ho Chi Minh City Student Cultural House) since 2002, and so far 64,625 disadvantaged students have been supported to return to their hometowns for Tet.
Mr. Le Xuan Dung - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Cultural House said: "The program is a meaningful activity to care for the material and spiritual life of students and workers in Ho Chi Minh City. From there, it contributes to educating love for homeland and family traditions, bringing deep humanistic values, helping to connect family feelings and regenerate energy after a year of being heavily affected by natural disasters and economic fluctuations".
