1,000 gifts for people in difficult circumstances through the 0 VND Fair
Ho Chi Minh City - The 0-dong fair in Vung Tau ward brought 1,000 gifts worth more than 1 billion VND to support people in difficult circumstances during Tet.
On February 7, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Vung Tau ward (HCMC) opened the program "0-dong Fair" on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the theme "Spring of Solidarity - Tet of Affection".
The market has 22 booths from philanthropists and benefactors, selling goods at 0 VND for difficult circumstances in the area. Through this, 1,000 gifts, each gift containing 22 items including: rice, fish sauce, soy sauce, dried fish, eggs along with cakes, candies, soft drinks, worth more than 1 million VND, were given to difficult circumstances to have more conditions to celebrate Tet fully.
During the market, a large number of trade union members, youth union members... also participated in supporting difficult circumstances to quickly receive goods; transporting goods to supply stalls as well as supporting elderly people to receive and move goods.
According to the VFFC of Vung Tau ward, the work of caring for Tet for difficult circumstances in the area is always focused on, especially during Tet and spring. Previously, the unit had organized a review of cases to ensure publicity, transparency, and the right subjects, leaving no one behind.
In addition, the support and companionship of units, philanthropists and the VFF of Vung Tau ward, brought gifts that were given at the right time, contributing to helping people alleviate difficulties and have more motivation to rise up in life.
