Tet Sum Vay Comes to Thousands of Workers in Dong Xuyen Industrial Park
HCMC - The "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang" program organized in Dong Xuyen Industrial Park attracted thousands of workers to participate.
On January 25, Area Management Working Group No. 5, Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC) said that thousands of workers have enthusiastically participated and experienced activities in the "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" program organized by the unit in coordination with the Trade Union of Uy Viet Shoes Manufacturing Company Limited in Dong Xuyen Industrial Park (Rach Dua Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
The program includes many attractive activities such as: free food stalls for workers; lion dances, exchanges, cultural activities... and lucky draws, with valuable gifts such as motorbikes, TVs, bakeries...
When the tour was over, thousands of workers went to the food stalls to experience delicious dishes. Previously, workers were given coupons to use cuisine with many delicious dishes.
After the culinary activities, many workers continue to participate in other attractive activities. For example, enthusiastically cheering for attractive performances by colleagues themselves; happily congratulating the workers who were lucky enough to win valuable gifts in the draw made by the workers themselves.
According to the Uy Viet Shoes Trade Union, through the program, a playground and joy for workers at the end of the year has been created. Although the program is held annually, workers are very excited and eager to participate in the program. In addition, the Board of Directors of the enterprise also very supports and creates conditions to organize the event.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation also organized the giving of 100 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to workers in difficult circumstances. The grassroots union also has practical gifts to support union members and workers during Tet.
"Through the gifts given during the Lunar New Year, it has demonstrated the profound humane message of the Trade Union organization, that no worker must leave behind. And I hope that union members and workers will promote a sense of responsibility, discipline, and skills, continue to stick with and accompany businesses to rise up in the journey ahead", said Mr. Le Van Hoa - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.
