Number of hospitalizations after suspected poisoning incident at Scavi Hue increases to 47
The number of people hospitalized suspected of food poisoning at Scavi Hue Company has increased to 47, including one case requiring intensive care.
On the afternoon of September 11, according to information from Hue Central Hospital facility 2, by about 3:30 pm, the number of patients admitted to the hospital suspected of food poisoning at Scavi Hue Company had increased to 47 people (previous report was 41 people).
Regarding the incident, leaders of Hue City Labor Federation said that the unit is coordinating to grasp information and will arrange forces to visit and encourage union members and workers who have had incidents and are being treated at the hospital.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, according to a quick report from the General Planning Department, Hue Central Hospital, facility 2, at about 10 am on September 11, at Scavi Hue Textile Company (Phong Dien Industrial Park, Phong Dien Ward, Hue City), a suspected food poisoning incident occurred.
As of 3 pm on the same day, there were 41 people showing signs of suspected poisoning and all 41 people were taken to Hue Central Hospital facility 2 for emergency treatment.
