Dak Lak Health Sector Workers get vaccinated against seasonal flu
Dak Lak - Workers in the health sector in the area are vaccinated against seasonal flu.
On January 8, the Dak Lak Provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC) organized a seasonal influenza vaccination for cadres, civil servants, and workers performing disease prevention and control tasks as well as health care for people in departments and offices of the unit and the Department of Health.
Accordingly, the seasonal flu vaccine vaccinated in this batch is IVACFLU-S, the 2025 South Hemisphere Linksitive seasonal flu vaccine, produced by the Institute of vaccines and health foods (IVAC). This vaccine contains surface antibodies of influenza viruses of strains A/H1N1, A/H3N2 and strain B.
Workers in the health sector are one of the groups at highest risk of flu due to frequent exposure to infection risk factors. Therefore, seasonal influenza vaccination is to strengthen disease prevention and control, contributing to reducing the rate of influenza in medical staff.
Thereby, helping health workers perform well the task of disease prevention and control and taking care of people's health.
