Nearly 600 workers compete at the 9th VNPT Sports Festival in Hanoi area
To celebrate the 81st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Post Office Industry (August 15, 1945 - August 15, 2026), the VNPT Trade Union organizes the 9th VNPT Sports Festival in Hanoi area, in 2026.
On the afternoon of August 7, nearly 600 athletes who are officials, employees, and laborers from VNPT units participated in the 9th VNPT Hanoi Regional Sports Festival, 2026.

Speaking at the opening of the sports festival, Ms. San Thi Binh - Standing Vice President of VNPT Trade Union (under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology) emphasized that in the journey of strong transformation of enterprises, employees are always an important resource of VNPT. Therefore, taking care of the health and improving the cultural and spiritual life of union members and employees is identified by VNPT Trade Union as a key task.
Ms. Binh emphasized that the VNPT Sports Festival in Hanoi area is held annually not only to create a playground for physical training and improving health, but also as an opportunity for officials and employees to exchange, connect, and strengthen team spirit.
This year's sports festival takes place in the context of VNPT promoting the "VNPT Rising Program" - arousing the spirit of innovation in thinking, action and implementation culture. Through sports activities, VNPT Trade Union expects to continue to spread the spirit of solidarity, fair-play competition, aspiration to rise up and VNPT cultural values," Ms. Binh said.
At the opening ceremony, athlete Ly Ngoc Hung, representing nearly 600 athletes, vowed to strictly comply with the regulations, compete wholeheartedly, unitedly, honestly and nobly. Representing the refereeing team, Mr. To Duc Hoa - national referee of table tennis - committed to officiating matches in accordance with the rules, fair, accurate and impartial.
The sports festival is expected to continue to spread the movement "Healthy to make families happy and build VNPT to develop", contributing to building a healthy, united, civilized VNPT team, ready to contribute to the sustainable development of the Group.
