Nearly 2,000 union members participate in the race of An Duong Ward Trade Union, Hai Phong

The race has the participation of nearly 2,000 athletes who are trade union members, officials, civil servants, public employees, soldiers, and workers at agencies, units, and businesses in An Duong ward. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Hoang Thi Thuan - Chairwoman of An Duong Ward Trade Union, Head of the Organizing Committee emphasized that the "Healthy and Beautiful Footsteps" race and the Pickleball race are not only a useful sports playground but also an opportunity for officials and trade union members to exchange, strengthen solidarity, spread a positive lifestyle, and contribute to building a team of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers with good health to successfully complete assigned tasks.

This is also one of the meaningful activities that the Ward Trade Union organized to celebrate the success of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026 - 2031; towards the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).

At the end of the competition contents, the Organizing Committee awarded collective and individual prizes to units and athletes who achieved excellent results; praised collectives with a large number of athletes participating, with a beautiful sports spirit and actively propagating and responding to the competition prizes. At the same time, the Organizing Committee awarded commemorative medals to leaders of agencies, units, and businesses directly involved, recognizing the companionship and positive response of units to the physical education and sports movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers.

On this occasion, the City Labor Federation presented 13 gifts to trade union members who are children of martyrs, children of wounded soldiers working at agencies, units, and businesses in An Duong and An Hai wards. Thereby, expressing deep concern and gratitude to families with meritorious services to the revolution on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day July 27.
