A business in Vinh Long spends 2.5 billion VND for workers to go on vacation
Vinh Long - Furukawa workers are organized annual vacations by grassroots trade unions and businesses with a budget of about 2.5 billion VND.
To celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), the grassroots Trade Union of Furukawa Automotive Systems Vinh Long Vietnam Co., Ltd. in coordination with businesses organized an annual vacation program for about 1,700 union members and workers with a total budget of about 2.5 billion VND.
Worker Nguyen Thi Kim Cuong, who has worked at the company for nearly 10 years, said that the annual vacation program is always expected by workers. The trips help her and her colleagues relax, regenerate labor, interact, connect and clearly feel the concern of the trade union and businesses for workers' lives.
According to Ms. Kim Cuong, participating in vacation trips makes workers more excited, have more motivation to contribute, feel secure in working and be attached to the business for a long time. This is not only a meaningful gift but also a source of spiritual encouragement after days of working and production, helping everyone return to work with excitement.
According to the plan, about 1,700 union members and workers will participate in tours suitable for the company's production conditions, including 2 tours in a day to Chau Doc and Tay Ninh; 2-day 1-night tour to Long Hai; 2-day 2-night and 3-day 3-night tours to Da Lat, Nha Trang.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Van Be Hai - Chairman of the grassroots trade union of Furukawa Automotive Systems Vinh Long Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said that the vacation program is an annual activity maintained by the trade union and businesses for many years.
According to Mr. Be Hai, this is one of the practical care activities for union members and workers. The coordination between trade unions and businesses helps the program to be organized thoughtfully, bringing joy to workers.
Mr. Be Hai added that the program not only cares about material life but also pays special attention to spiritual life, helping workers regenerate labor, adding motivation to stick with and accompany businesses for a long time.
