Dien Bien awards 22 sets of medals at workers' sports tournament
Dien Bien - The Workers' Sports Festival has just closed after 3 days of exciting competition.
On the morning of July 26, at the Dien Bien Provincial Multi-purpose Sports Center, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the closing ceremony and award ceremony.
The tournament takes place from July 24 to 26, attracting 51 units with nearly 300 coaches and athletes who are union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to compete in three sports: badminton, pickleball, and table tennis.
Notably, pickleball continues to be a competition that attracts a large number of participants and cheering audiences, showing the strong spread of this sport in the mass sports movement in the province.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation Tan Minh Long praised the united and honest fighting spirit of the athletes. At the same time, he acknowledged the careful preparation of the Organizing Committee and coordinating units, contributing to bringing the tournament to a safe and successful outcome.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 22 sets of medals and cups and prizes to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament not only creates a useful playground, contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of union members and workers, but also promotes the movement of physical training and sports, strengthens exchanges and connections between agencies, units, and businesses in the province.
