With the form of support using electronic vouchers worth 500,000 VND/person, the program contributes practically to taking care of union members' lives during the Lunar New Year 2026.

The new point of this year's Trade Union Tet Market is that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor encourages union members to proactively shop online according to each system opening time frame, depending on the locality and industry, contributing to reducing pressure on simultaneous access and creating convenience for workers.

In Can Tho City, the program supports a total of 5,200 people, including 5,000 union members and 200 union officials. Eligible union members can shop for essential goods and consumer products on the official website https://chotet.congdoan.vn or through the "Union Tet Market" application installed on their smartphones.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Chairman of the Trade Union of My Tu Regional Medical Center (Can Tho City), this year the unit was allocated 31 purchases. "Up to now, the union members have basically bought almost all. Union members are very excited because there are more conditions to shop for Tet, Mr. Tuan shared.

As one of the first union members to benefit from the program, Tran Khanh Ly - a union member of the Trade Union of HS Vietnam Chemical Company Limited - Soc Trang Branch, could not hide her joy when using e-voucher for shopping. I used a 500,000 VND voucher to buy a set of pots and pans and a pan, Ly said.

Khanh Ly currently works in the Planning department, earning about 5 million VND/month. Ly's family is still in many difficult circumstances, his mother works for hire, his father works as a charcoal carrier dozens of kilometers away from home, and his income is also unstable. "This is the first time I have received Tet gifts. I find this program very meaningful, helping me reduce my expenses when Tet comes. The program also brings a sense of care and sharing from the Union, especially for young union members who are new to work and have limited economic conditions, Ly confided.

Khanh Ly said that online shopping is quite convenient, simple to operate, goods are diverse and have clear origins. "I just need to go to the app, choose a product and pay, not have to travel much, very suitable for our workers", Ly shared more.

Mr. Huynh Thanh Hoai - Chairman of the Trade Union of HS Vietnam Chemical Company Limited - Soc Trang branch said that the unit has 41 union members supported to buy goods at this year's online Trade Union Tet Market. Up to now, 24 union members have completed their shopping, the rest are mainly working at night, so the grassroots union is continuing to arrange time to guide union members to do so in the coming days.

According to Mr. Hoai, the Trade Union Tet Market is a very meaningful activity, especially for union members and workers with low incomes.

Through online shopping, union members can proactively choose essential items to serve family life during Tet. This is not only material support, but also shows the concern and companionship of the Trade Union for workers, helping them feel secure in their work and stay with the enterprise for a long time, Mr. Hoai emphasized.
