Petrovietnam Trade Union studies and exchanges experiences in Norway and Sweden
The Petrovietnam Trade Union delegation visited, worked, and exchanged experiences at the Norwegian General Confederation of Labor and the Swedish General Confederation of Labor.
The delegation was led by Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan - President of Petrovietnam Trade Union.
Working in Norway and Sweden, the delegation discussed the role of trade unions in equitable energy transition; the three-way coordination model: Trade unions - Enterprises - State in digital and green skills training; application of technology in organizational governance and union member interaction; collective bargaining mechanism, social dialogue and policy participation at the national and energy levels; collective bargaining at the industry and national levels, policy dialogue, organization and training of union officials...
At the working sessions, the delegation introduced the Petrovietnam Trade Union - affirming the position, tradition, influence and efforts for innovation of the trade union in the era of dual transformation.
The working trip has opened up a space for valuable dialogue, where modern union models are accessed not only in the function of representing rights, but also in the capacity to create policies and lead the process of social transformation.
