Organizing many activities to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party

The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has just sent Official Letter No. 08-CV/BTG&DV to the Party Committees and affiliated Party cells on continuing the peak period of propaganda for the 14th National Congress of the Party.

According to the document signed by Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, to promote propaganda and create a vibrant competitive atmosphere to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department recommends that the Party Committees and Party cells under the Party focus on implementing a number of tasks, including proactively organizing cultural, artistic and sports activities to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party; creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, meeting the needs of cultural and spiritual enjoyment of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, union members and workers in the entire Party.

In addition, strengthen propaganda work on the significance, importance, theme, motto, goal, task, context, and timing of the 14th National Party Congress, focusing on affirming and highlighting the stature and historical significance of the 14th National Party Congress as an important milestone on the development path of our country and people, starting a new history, a new era, an era of the Vietnamese nation's rise.

In addition, spread positive and official information; promptly grasp the ideological situation, mood, and public opinion; promptly reflect and recommend to competent authorities; link propaganda with patriotic emulation movements and practical activities to celebrate the Congress; proactively participate in the fight against and refute erroneous and hostile views in appropriate, effective and appropriate forms and tasks.

For Lao Dong Newspaper, the document suggested that the newspaper proactively promote in-depth propaganda about the 14th National Congress of the Party; fully, vividly and comprehensively reflect the preparation work, emulation atmosphere, trust and expectations of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, union members and workers towards the Congress.
