Visiting and encouraging An Giang's football team to participate in the 2025 Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament

On the afternoon of October 9, leaders of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor visited, encouraged, and cheered on the spirit of the football team of the An Giang Electricity and Water Joint Stock Company. This is the team representing the An Giang Trade Union to participate in the 2025 Civil Servants Football Tournament organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The Southern qualifying round takes place in Ho Chi Minh City.

Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Do Tran Thinh gave words of encouragement, visited and cheered on the team's spirit before the official competition day. The Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor hopes that the team will compete with all its might, with a good and friendly sportsmanship, contributing beautiful plays for the season.

According to the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor, the football tournament aims to encourage the spirit and motivation of employees to participate in physical training, improve their cultural and spiritual life, thereby improving productivity, quality, labor efficiency, production, and work, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.

Thereby, it also creates a playground for union members and workers to demonstrate their talents; exchange and learn experiences, strengthen solidarity and cohesion.

The team has 24 members, including the Head of the team, Deputy Head of the team, Team Leaders, Head Coach, Assistant Coach, medical staff, logistics staff, players, etc. The competition period for 7-a-side men's football will take place from October 10 to 13, 2025.
