Focus on grassroots activities, closely following union members and workers

According to Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Huy Khanh, to effectively perform the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, the Hanoi City Labor Federation has implemented many activities, such as giving comments in the drafting process, developing legal documents related to workers; propagating the Labor Code, the Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene...; training to improve dialogue skills, negotiation, signing Collective Labor Agreements.

Every year, the City's Trade Unions at all levels have coordinated to inspect, examine and supervise the implementation of labor law and the Trade Union Law at over 500 units and enterprises; inspect the work of ensuring occupational safety and hygiene at over 300 units; participate in investigating 100% of occupational accidents that occur in the City.

In the coming time, the City Labor Federation will continue to promote solutions to improve the effectiveness of presiding over and supervising the implementation of legal policies, ensuring the rights of workers.

One of them is to focus on activities towards the grassroots, closely following union members and workers. Actively and proactively participate, recommend to State agencies and employers to propose solutions to ensure jobs, income and legitimate and legal rights and interests for employees.

Resolutely request the competent authorities to handle in accordance with the provisions of law for cases of violations of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
