Maximum number of Deputy Commanders of Military Commands of agencies and organizations

Clause 2, Article 4 of Decree 72/2020/ND-CP stipulates as follows:

Number of Deputy Commanders of Commune-level Military Commands, Military Commands of Agencies and Organizations

2. Military Command of the agency and organization arranged 1 deputy commander. Based on the requirements of defense and military tasks, the operation of the agency, organization, commander of the Hanoi Capital Command, the Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command consider and decide to appoint no more than two deputy commanders at the request of the head of the agency or organization.

Accordingly, the number of Deputy Commanders of the Military Commands of agencies and organizations is 1.

Based on the requirements of defense and military tasks, the operation of the agency, organization, commander of the Hanoi Capital Command, the Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command consider and decide to appoint no more than two deputy commanders at the request of the head of the agency or organization.

Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 21 of the 2019 Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces, the Military Command of an agency or organization is considered for establishment when the agency or organization meets the following conditions: Having an organization of the Communist Party of Vietnam; having a self-defense unit of an agency or organization.

The Military Command of agencies and organizations does not include the Military Command of ministries and central branches established in accordance with the provisions of the Law on National Defense.
