Mr. Mai Chiem Hung becomes Chairman of the Trade Union of Quang Tri Trading Corporation Joint Stock Company

On November 29, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (PLF) announced that the grassroots trade union of Quang Tri Trading Corporation Joint Stock Company held a conference of delegates to summarize the 2023-2028 term, deploy tasks and elect the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Attending were representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Party Committee and the General Board of Directors of the Company.

The grassroots trade union currently has 561 union members operating in 10 departmental trade unions. In the past term, the Trade Union has promoted its core role in caring for and protecting the rights of workers; coordinated professionally to ensure jobs, income, and welfare for union members. Propaganda, education, and implementation of the Party's policies and legal policies are carried out regularly.

The emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Promoting technical innovation initiatives" spread strongly; in 2023 alone, more than 400 initiatives were recognized, bringing economic efficiency, contributing to innovating the Company's production and business activities.

The work of building a strong Trade Union organization associated with building a Party and government continues to be focused on. For many consecutive years, the Trade Union has excellently fulfilled its tasks, and was awarded a Certificate of Merit and Emulation Flag by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; in 2025, the Company received the "Outstanding Enterprise for Workers" Award for the 4th time.

The conference elected the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 11 comrades; the Inspection Committee, consisting of 3 comrades. Mr. Mai Chiem Hung was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union; at the same time, elected 1 delegate to the Quang Tri Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
