The process of streamlining the Trade Union apparatus in Son La is an important step to realize the goal of innovating the organization and operation of trade unions in a modern and effective direction, for union members.

Streamlining the apparatus does not reduce the role of the Trade Union organization, but on the contrary, helps the Trade Union organization operate more closely to reality, focusing on its core function of caring for and protecting the rights of employees in the new situation.

Ms. Thai Thi Mai - Vice President of the Son La Provincial Federation of Labor said that after the restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus, trade union activities in the province continue to be innovated in terms of content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots and workers.

At the same time, it will increasingly promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees. Thereby, contributing to solving many practical problems and complex problems arising among workers, maintaining political security, social order and safety, especially in industrial parks, clusters, and boarding houses with a large number of workers.

"Union activities continue to focus on the grassroots, using grassroots unions as the main operating area. Taking the needs and interests of union members and employees as a basis for developing programs and action plans" - Ms. Mai emphasized.
