Hanoi City Labor Federation expresses gratitude to hospital leaders who are Trade Union Chairmen
Hanoi - On the morning of February 26, the Hanoi Labor Federation organized a meeting to thank the hospital leadership team who are Trade Union Chairmen.
This is one of the meaningful activities to celebrate the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2026). The gratitude activity becomes even more meaningful when it becomes a forum for exchanging experiences and spreading good models in the activities of the Health Sector Trade Union.
Speaking here, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation sent good wishes and deep gratitude to the leadership, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Capital's Health sector, and affirmed that throughout the 71-year journey, the Hanoi team of doctors has continuously grown stronger, making important contributions to the cause of caring for, protecting and improving people's health.
In recent years, health work in the Capital has achieved many outstanding results. People have access to increasingly quality health care services; population growth rate is controlled; policies, strategies, programs, and plans on health are concerned with investment and promote positive effects in social life.
In particular, many hospitals in Hanoi have successfully deployed high-tech and modern new techniques, on par with central and Southeast Asian hospitals, focusing on key areas such as cardiology, cancer treatment, diagnostic imaging, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, kidney transplantation...
Not only focusing on improving professional qualifications, the Capital's Health sector also drastically innovates the style and attitude of serving patients. To date, 100% of medical examination and treatment facilities in the city have developed and implemented the plan "Innovating the style and attitude of service of medical staff, contributing to reducing inconvenience and aiming for patient satisfaction". These positive changes have contributed to consolidating people's trust in the public health system, while affirming the image of Hanoi doctors who are dedicated, responsible, and virtuous.
Expressing appreciation for the silent efforts, sense of responsibility and persistent contributions of the medical team, the Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation wished the units to continue to promote their core role, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment; and at the same time pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of medical staff - those who are day and night shouldering the noble mission of protecting community health.
The Capital Trade Union organization always identifies caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers as a key task. For the team of medical staff - a force that regularly undergoes great work pressure and high labor intensity, the Trade Union's companionship becomes even more practical and meaningful.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the City Labor Federation also wished the leaders of hospitals to pay attention to coordinating with the Trade Union organization to organize programs of health check-ups, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for union members and workers in the area; paying special attention to specific subjects such as workers in high-tech zones and industrial parks of Hanoi - the direct production labor force, making important contributions to the socio-economic development of the Capital.
