An Giang Labor Federation offers incense to celebrate the 137th birthday of President Ton Duc Thang

On August 20, in the enthusiastic atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 137th anniversary of the birth of President Ton Duc Thang (August 20,88 - August 20, 2025), the working delegation of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) led by Mr. Do Tran Thinh - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor - and the CEP microfinance Organization (HCMC Federation of Labor) led by Mr. Hoang Van Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Members, visited the special national relic site of the President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Site in My Hoa Hung Commune (An Giang Province) to offer flowers and incense to commemorate the person.

At the age of 92, nearly 70 years of revolutionary activities, President Ton Duc Thang devoted his entire life to the cause of revolutionary struggle, the cause of national liberation struggle and the journey to start the construction and construction of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

President Ton Duc Thang is also the one who laid the foundation for the Vietnam Trade Union, the organization that represents, cares for, and protects the legitimate rights and interests of union members, workers, and laborers.

As a high-ranking leader of the country, Uncle Ton still maintains the simple lifestyle of an ordinary worker, and is praised by Uncle Ho as a model of revolutionary ethics. After respectfully offering flowers and incense at Uncle Ton Temple, the delegation visited and offered incense to the double altar of President Ton Duc Thang at the relic of Uncle Ton's Youth House.

Previously, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - and representatives of former leaders, leaders of the Party and government of An Giang province through the periods solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 137th anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang's birthday at the Special National Monument of President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Site.
