An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor visits businesses, attends Union meals with over 9,000 workers

On August 19, a working delegation of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) led by Mr. Do Tran Thinh - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor visited and worked with 4 companies and enterprises in the old An Giang province.

This is a practical care activity of the Trade Union organization in Uncle Ton's hometown to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). In that spirit, the delegation visited NV Apparel Co., Ltd., An Giang Samho Co., Ltd. (Binh Hoa Industrial Park, Binh Hoa Commune); An Giang TBS Joint Stock Company (Phu Hoa Commune); Duc Thanh Import-Export Garment Co., Ltd. (My Thoi Ward).

At each location, the Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor greeted and spent time listening to representatives of business leaders and grassroots trade unions inform about the production and business situation and labor relations at enterprises. At the same time, it is necessary to learn about the thoughts, aspirations as well as the lives and jobs of union members, workers and laborers. Thereby, exchanging and suggesting for businesses and grassroots trade unions to apply and resolve the issue. For complex issues, the delegation will record and coordinate with businesses and authorities at all levels to consider according to their authority, gradually handle them, ensuring the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

Also during the visit and working session with enterprises, the delegation of the Provincial Federation of Labor attended the "Union Meal" program organized by the grassroots union in coordination with the Board of Directors of An Giang Samho Company Limited for over 9,000 union members and workers. The value of each meal is 65,000 VND. At the program, the Trade Union of An Giang Samho Company Limited organized a support program for 3 union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total amount of nearly 47 million VND; presented gifts to the children of 97 union members with 2 children with good and excellent academic achievements in the 2024 - 2025 school year with a total amount of over 29 million VND.

Appreciating the unit's practical care for union members and workers, Mr. Do Tran Thinh praised the way of implementing many practical programs that have elevated the level of the Union Meal beyond material meals, becoming an event containing the affection, care and sharing of the Company's leaders and the Union organization for union members and workers. "These seemingly small things have a very positive impact and contribute to strengthening solidarity, creating motivation for everyone to strive for the sustainable development of the company" - Mr. Thinh emphasized.
