Lao Cai deploys Trade Union Meals at companies and enterprises
Lao Cai - At the meeting, union members and workers enjoyed an intimate meal together and shared their thoughts and aspirations in work and life.
Practically to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation will implement the "Union Meal" Program in 2025.
The program is held from July 20 to September 2, 2025, in coordination with the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation and grassroots unions.
The program is an opportunity for trade unions and unit and enterprise leaders to share and grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers.
Thereby, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and understanding, creating trust and attachment of union members and workers to the trade union organization and enterprises.
At the same time, it contributes to improving the work of caring for the material and spiritual life, towards building long-term welfare programs for union members and workers.
The "Union Meal" program ensures mid-shift meals at higher costs than usual through support from the union organization; effectively implements food safety and hygiene; does not affect the production and business activities of enterprises.
Depending on actual conditions, in the "Union Meal" Program, units can combine organizing union member admissions; giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances; organizing birthdays for union members...
Attending the "Union Meal" organized by the Phu Tai Food Company Limited's Union, Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and praised the sense of responsibility, concern and coordination of the Board of Directors and the Company's Union in organizing the Union Meal.
"Union Meal is not only an opportunity for cadres and workers to exchange and share, but also a bridge to strengthen the connection between the union organization and the enterprise, contributing to building a friendly and united working environment," Mr. Cuong emphasized.
At the meeting, delegates, union members, and employees of the company enjoyed an intimate meal together and shared their thoughts and aspirations in work and life.
The meeting took place in a warm and joyful atmosphere, motivating workers to love and stick with the company more.
On this occasion, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor presented 5 gifts to workers in especially difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND.
