Opening of the 1st Ca Mau Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030
Ca Mau - The 1st Ca Mau Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, opened the first working session.
On the afternoon of December 28, at the Ca Mau Provincial Conference Center, the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held the 1st Ca Mau Provincial Trade Union Congress, the first session for the 2025-2030 term.
Attending the first session were Comrade Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Comrade Do Hong Van - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Comrade Le Thanh Trieu - Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) leading Ca Mau province and 150 delegates attending the congress.
In the first working session of the congress, the delegates elected the Presidium, Secretariat, and the Delegation of Delegation status Inspection; approved the program and working regulations; reported the results of the examination and voted to recognize the status of delegate to the congress.
Summary report on the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the Executive Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor, period 2023-2025; Goals, targets and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term; Report on explanation and acceptance of comments on the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor Congress Documents, term 2025 - 2030; Report on synthesis of comments on the contributions to the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, revised Trade Union Charter.
Most opinions are in high agreement with the drafts, however, there are also many opinions related to the revised Trade Union Charter, digital transformation, development of union members, grassroots trade unions, etc.
At the first working session, delegates also listened to presentations on the topics: "Propaganda and dissemination of Party directives and resolutions, State policies and laws, Trade Union Resolutions for union members and workers in enterprises"; "Propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers to be aware of environmental sanitation, waste classification and treatment, contributing to building a Green - Clean - Beautiful workplace and community"; Solutions for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, Fisheries Union in Song Doc...
The Congress also listened to some of the preparations for the official opening session held on December 29 and held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, paying tribute to the heroic martyrs.
