Sports festival connecting the love of the Cong - Binh at Con Dao special zone

On January 20, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC) and the Area Management Working Group No. 5 organized a Sports Exchange to connect the Public - Service, taking place in the Con Dao special zone with the participation of officers, soldiers of the armed forces, union members, and workers.

This is an activity under the "Tet tinh thuong cong - Binh" program organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, aiming to take practical and meaningful care of the Lunar New Year 2026 for workers, officers and soldiers in the Don Dao special zone.

In the sports festival, soldiers from units and workers divided into teams, enthusiastically participating in slow cycling races; sack jumping; team rope jumping; tug of war... The Organizing Committee also awarded prizes to teams with high achievements.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, the sports festival is not only a sports activity to enjoy spring, but also a bridge connecting, a strong bond connecting the affection between the Public and the Army, connecting workers with soldiers who are day and night defending the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

Through the sports festival, it has vividly demonstrated the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and companionship; where hands of labor and hands holding guns hold together in laughter, in the common joy of the approaching traditional national New Year; Contributing to spreading profound human values, fostering trust and comradeship among forces sharing the responsibility of building and defending the country.

On the same day, the working group also visited a number of policy families in difficult circumstances in the Con Dao special zone. At each destination, the delegation visited and encouraged the families, and presented gifts worth 2 million VND to support the families to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

Previously, on January 19, within the framework of the program, the working group visited and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Hang Duong Cemetery, Con Dao Temple; visited, encouraged and presented Tet gifts to a number of armed forces units in the area.
