Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor Inspection Committee Conference expands

On December 12, information from the Phu Tho Provincial Federation of Labor said that the Provincial Federation of Labor Inspection Committee Conference had just been held.

At the Conference, delegates approved the draft Report on the results of inspection and supervision work of trade unions at all levels in 2025, deploying key directions and tasks in 2026; Report on the Summary of inspection and supervision work for the period 2023 - 2025, directions and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term of trade unions at all levels;

Along with that, the thematic supervision plan of the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee in 2026 was approved; the Plan to inspect compliance with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Charter and the management of trade union finance and assets in 2026 by the Provincial Federation of Labor's Inspection Committee.

Delegates focused on discussing and evaluating the results of inspection and supervision work; difficulties and problems in implementing inspection and supervision tasks at newly established commune and ward trade unions and grassroots trade unions in the past time, especially after implementing the model of organizing local government at 2 levels, merging provinces and proposing solutions to effectively implement inspection and supervision work in the coming time.

The inspection, supervision and operation of trade union inspection committees at all levels have had many innovations in content and methods in performing tasks, promoting peer inspection, strengthening inspection and supervision at subordinate levels.

Mr. Do Ngoc Anh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor highly appreciated the results of the activities of the Trade Union Inspection Committees at all levels in 2025 and the period 2023 - 2025, which have contributed to raising awareness of compliance with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Charter.

The Trade Union Inspection Committee has seriously implemented the Directive, Resolution and regulations of the trade union, gradually putting trade union activities into order; improving the effectiveness of management and use of trade union finance and assets; performing well the function of protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees and building an increasingly strong trade union organization.

At the same time, it clearly pointed out the advantages, limitations and shortcomings in the implementation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Charter and the management and use of trade union financial assets.

Regarding the tasks for 2026, the Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor requested the Inspection Committees of trade unions at all levels to proactively develop a Plan and a Work Program for the new term and annually, focusing on achieving and exceeding the set targets, tasks and inspection and supervision plans.
