Introduce 20 outstanding union members to the Party in the new term
Vinh Long - The Trade Union of Vinh Tien Garment Joint Stock Company for the 2025-2030 term aims to introduce 20 outstanding union members to the Party.
On October 28, at the Hall of Vinh Tien Garment Joint Stock Company, the grassroots trade union (CDCS) held its 6th Congress, term 2025-2030.
Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor attended and directed the Congress with 85 delegates representing 1,471 union members.
During the 2023-2025 term, the Trade Union has developed 1,332 new union members, coordinated to build and donate 7 "Union Shelters" with a total value of 350 million VND; spent nearly 2.13 billion VND to give gifts for the Lunar New Year and purchase accident insurance for all cadres, union members and workers for 3 consecutive years.
The trade union also negotiates and signs collective labor agreements with more favorable terms for employees than those prescribed by law, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations.
For the 2025-2030 term, the grassroots trade union aims to build a strong and comprehensive organization, ensuring that 100% of union members are cared for and have their legitimate rights protected; strive for an average income of 13 million VND/person/month and introduce 20 outstanding union members to the Party.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi - Permanent Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - praised the efforts of the union members and workers in the company.
She suggested that grassroots trade unions continue to innovate their methods of operation, improve their representative capacity and better care for the material and spiritual life of union members.
She emphasized: "Union must accompany businesses for sustainable development, for jobs, income and life of workers".
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 6th term, consisting of 9 comrades, elected the Inspection Committee and the delegation to attend the Congress of the superior Trade Union. 100% of delegates voted to approve the Congress Resolution.
The Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term held its first meeting to elect the Standing Committee, the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Inspection Committee, in which Mr. Truong Cong Nhan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Vinh Tien Garment Joint Stock Company.
