Nearly 600 people will participate in firefighting drills at Taekwang Can Tho Company

On September 19, Can Tho City Police held a conference to deploy a plan to coordinate the practice of fire fighting and rescue plans in 2025 at TKG Taekwang Can Tho Company Limited.

This is a large-scale drill to improve response capacity and limit damage when incidents occur.

The conference was attended by leaders of the City Police, representatives of relevant departments, branches, and leaders and officers of TKG Taekwang Can Tho Company Limited.

At the Conference, the Organizing Committee announced the draft Decision to establish a Steering Committee and a Training Advisory Committee; deploy Plan No. 39/KH-UBND and Plan No. 107/KH-CATP-PC07 on coordination of the plan; at the same time, introduce the draft scenario for the drill, collect comments from participating units to complete.

According to the plan, the drill plan will be organized at the city level, mobilizing 16 units, 61 vehicles and nearly 600 participants. It is expected to take place on October 4, 2025, with four stages including a meeting to unify the content, practice, general review and practice of the plan.

Speaking at the Conference, Colonel Le Duc Bay - Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police Department requested relevant departments, branches, sectors and units to seriously consider the assigned work; proactively develop a detailed plan, arrange forces and means, ensure close coordination in training, gathering, general approval and internship.

Participating forces need to consider this a key task, promote fire fighting skills and tactics and rescue, ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles.

The City Police, as a consulting agency, will continue to act as a focal point for guidance, regularly synthesize progress, promptly advise the City People's Committee to direct, and at the same time ensure the safety of the project and operations of the enterprise throughout the preparation and internship process.

Organizing the drill is not only a regular task of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force, but also has an important significance in prevention work, helping units be equipped with timely handling skills when incidents occur. Thereby, contributing to minimizing damage to people and property, maintaining security, order and safety of production and business in the area.
