Comrade Dinh Cong Tanh was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the An Long Commune Trade Union in Dong Thap

At the conference, delegates listened to a detailed report on the process of establishing the An Long Commune Trade Union according to the Decision of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the results of receiving 4 grassroots trade unions with more than 1,000 union members on activities, as well as the situation of workers, civil servants, laborers and labor relations in the area.

This is the basis for initially assessing activities and proposing directions and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term. The draft direction emphasizes key groups of goals, towards the spirit of: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".

The conference approved 17 key targets, focusing on developing union members, improving qualifications, applying digital technology, implementing collective labor agreements, maintaining cultural and sports activities, training cadres, inspection and supervision and implementing emulation works.

To carry out the task, the conference agreed on 9 key solutions and identified 4 breakthroughs, including: innovation in digital transformation and union management; improving staff capacity, especially in negotiation, dialogue and protecting workers' rights; consolidating the organization and improving the quality of grassroots union activities; practically caring for union members, improving welfare and improving labor relations.

On behalf of the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee, the leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee and key positions of the Commune Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.

After the announcement ceremony, the Executive Committee of the new commune Trade Union launched and delivered a speech accepting the task, affirming its determination to innovate trade union activities, promote its role as a representative, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers.

In her speech, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - praised the An Long Commune Labor Union for proactively preparing and soon stabilizing the organization.

The Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor emphasized three key tasks: caring for core workers, grasping the situation and monitoring grassroots democracy regulations; caring for union members' welfare through collective labor agreements; mobilizing and propagating on social networks, launching the movement "Digital learning environment" and applying digital transformation in life and production.

At the same time, promote the emulation movement for good workers, creative workers, discover and nurture outstanding union members to join the Party.

At the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee consisting of 3 comrades, of which comrade Dinh Cong Tanh was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Commune Trade Union.
