The first Congress of the 2025-2030 term of the Kim Lien Ward Trade Union
Hanoi - On October 10, Kim Lien Ward Trade Union held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Attending were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuong - President of the Fatherland Front of Kim Lien Ward.
The Congress was attended by 139 delegates, outstanding union members, representing the intelligence and high solidarity of the Kim Lien Ward Trade Union, representing over 5,000 union members of 97 grassroots unions.
Opening the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Chairman of Kim Lien Ward Trade Union emphasized that this is an important political event, marking the maturity of the Trade Union organization after the local government implemented the 2-level model. The Congress is not only an opportunity for union officials and members to summarize and evaluate the results of activities in the past time, but also a democratic forum, expressing the will, aspirations, intelligence and responsibility of the team of workers and civil servants for the development of the locality.
The Ward Trade Union Congress has the task of: Reporting on the situation of workers and civil servants and the activities of grassroots trade unions in the ward after implementing the arrangement of local authorities at 2 levels; deciding on targets, directions, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; Discussing and contributing opinions to the Draft Report of the Executive Committee of the City Labor Federation, term XVII, submitted to the 18th Hanoi City Trade Union Congress; Announcing the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions of Kim Lien Ward Trade Union officials for the first term, 2025-2030.
