The 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress is scheduled to take place in December 2025

The Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor has just held a conference to deploy the Plan to organize grassroots and commune-level Trade Union Congresses towards the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The conference was attended by Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Standing member of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee, Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union Committee; Chairmen of commune and ward trade unions and Chairmen of grassroots trade unions with over 1,000 union members.

According to the plan, the union congresses of 25 wards and communes will be completed before October; the grassroots union congresses and grassroots unions will be completed before November 30. The official congress time is no more than 1/2 day, encouraged in conjunction with the summary of trade union work in 2025 of the unit and enterprise.

The grassroots trade union congresses at the commune and ward levels are responsible for summarizing and evaluating the implementation of the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term (up to the time of the Congress), proposing the direction of activities for the new term; amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; electing the new term union executive committee for the 2025-2030 term.

The 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, will be held after the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and completed in December 2025; the Congress will be held for 1.5 days.

The Congress shall convene no more than 300 delegates; guest delegates shall not exceed 30% of the total number of officially invited delegates. During the Provincial Trade Union Congress, delegates focused on discussing and approving the summary report on trade union activities in the past term; deciding on targets, directions, tasks and solutions for the next term.

At the same time, participate in giving opinions on draft documents of the Upper Trade Union Congress; synthesize recommendations from union members and workers on issues related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers and trade union activities; give opinions on amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union. At the Congress, the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Inspection Committee of the new term of the Trade Union and key positions will be announced; The decision to appoint delegates to the Congress of the higher-level Trade Union will be announced.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation quickly informed the delegates about the results of the 1st Bac Ninh Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, after 2 days of urgent, serious, democratic and responsible work, the 1st Congress of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, approved the draft Resolution, agreeing on 5 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs, 4 main groups of solutions for the term 2025 - 2030. The Congress announced the Politburo's Decision on appointing the Executive Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 71 comrades; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 18 comrades.

Regarding the Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term, Mr. Thach Van Chung suggested continuing to innovate content and form towards practicality and efficiency, associated with digital transformation in trade union activities, attaching importance to quality, saving time and money, ensuring progress.

The political report of the Congress must correctly, objectively and comprehensively assess the situation and results of implementing the resolutions of the Trade Union Congress at its level in the past term; at the same time, determine the direction, goals, tasks, and solutions for the new term, ensuring closeness to the actual situation and high feasibility for effective implementation.

Mr. Thach Van Chung noted that the preparation of contents on the personnel of the Executive Committee and positions in the Executive Committee must ensure compliance with standards, meeting the requirements of the organizational structure of quantity and composition. At the Congress, delegates focused on contributing opinions and recommendations on the legitimate rights and interests of union members, workers and trade union activities; participating in giving opinions on amending the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, ensuring the leadership principles of the Party and higher-level trade unions, in line with the actual situation of trade unions in the new development stage.
