The union congress of wards, communes and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City will be completed before October 31, 2025

The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has just issued a plan to organize trade union congresses at all levels towards the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation requires trade union congresses at all levels to continue to innovate content and form towards practicality, efficiency, valuation of quality, saving time and money, and on schedule.

The political report must correctly, objectively and comprehensively assess the situation and results of implementing the resolutions of the trade union congress at its level in the past term, and at the same time determine the direction, goals, tasks, and solutions for the new term close to the actual situation and with high feasibility for effective implementation.

Regarding the time, the commune, ward and special zone trade unions will hold a congress and complete before October 31, 2025. Grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions, member grassroots trade unions, and departmental trade unions will hold a congress and complete before December 31, 2025.

For grassroots trade unions with a structure of delegates attending the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress and the Vietnam Trade Union Congress, it must be completed before November 30, 2025. The official congress time is not more than one session, encouraged to be associated with the summary of the union work in 2025 of the unit and enterprise.

The Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress will take place right after the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress in Ho Chi Minh City and will be completed before December 31, 2025. The time to organize the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union Congress shall not exceed 2 sessions.
