In the recent period, the ward union has built 5 "Union Shelters"; presented gifts and supported train and bus tickets to 597 union members worth 666.5 million VND; grassroots unions gave Tet gifts to more than 4,100 union members and workers with a total cost of over 1 billion VND.

Along with that, focus on propaganda, education, promoting grassroots democracy, promoting the patriotic emulation movement, developing union members and establishing grassroots unions; negotiating and signing collective labor agreements with many provisions beneficial to workers.

Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation highly appreciated the efforts of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of Yen Bai Ward Labor Union.

The Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation emphasized: "The way of doing things, the approach and the action of the ward union right after the merger are very quick, timely, effective, and uninterrupted in the activities of grassroots unions".
