Da Nang establishes Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union with nearly 8,000 union members

On July 21, the Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union (Da Nang City) announced that the unit had just been officially established with 147 grassroots trade unions and 7,990 union members. Ms. Phung Thi Ai Nhan was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Ward Trade Union.

At the launching conference, Ms. Hoang Giang Yen Thuy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Cuong Ward Party Committee affirmed that the establishment of a trade union organization is an important step in perfecting the apparatus, improving operational efficiency in the context of administrative unit arrangement.

Ms. Thuy suggested that the Ward Union soon stabilize its organization, develop working regulations, focus on taking care of workers' rights and promote emulation movements.

On this occasion, the Ward Labor Union launched an emulation movement to welcome the 1st Ward Party Congress, calling on union members to respond to the movements "Good workers, Creative workers", "Promoting initiatives, technical improvement".
