Binh Thuan Lottery Trade Union - a bright spot in caring for workers

The grassroots union of Binh Thuan Lottery Company Limited currently has 113 union members and workers. The unit is being directly managed by the Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union.

Due to the nature of lottery business, the grassroots trade union has 6 union groups at the head office and 2 union groups at representative offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho.

In recent times, the grassroots trade union has been considered a bright spot in caring for union members, especially in the context that enterprises are units that contribute greatly to the provincial budget and regularly participate in social security activities in the fields of health and education.

Policies on employment, wages, bonuses, benefits and working conditions have been fully implemented and transparently, creating peace of mind for workers and maintaining stable and progressive labor relations. The grassroots democracy regulations are maintained seriously.

Ms. Nguyen Vu Thien Dau - Chairman of the Trade Union of Binh Thuan Lottery Company Limited - said that the company is implementing a policy of purchasing life insurance to accumulate fees for employees, with a maximum of 1 million VND/person/month. When it expires, all insurance benefits are transferred to employees.

Many activities to care for spiritual life are maintained such as internal exchanges, sports festivals, vacations and support for children of union members on special occasions.

Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - highly appreciated the proactiveness of the grassroots trade union in caring for union members.

Mr. Hoang noted that trade unions need to pay more attention to the two trade union groups in Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho so that trade union activities always have the full participation of union members from afar.

In the context of increasingly competitive, Mr. Hoang suggested that grassroots trade unions promote the launch of initiatives among union members and workers to effectively apply them to work, contributing to improving productivity.

"The unit stands out with many social security activities, but the important thing is to take good care of the workers in the enterprise" - Mr. Hoang emphasized.

On November 29, the Trade Union of Binh Thuan Lottery Company Limited held its 12th Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.

The Congress approved many new goals and tasks and elected the Executive Committee. Ms. Nguyen Vu Thien Dau continues to be trusted to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
