On March 19, 2026 in Can Tho, VNPT Trade Union organized a Conference to deploy women's work in the 2026-2030 period. Attending were leaders of Industry Trade Unions and leaders of the Group, along with representatives of collectives and individuals commended by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good at work, good at home" in the 2020-2025 period.

Promoting the role of VNPT women in the digital age

After the welcome speech of VNPT Trade Union Chairman Nguyen Anh Tuan, the Organizing Committee announced the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Trade Union on establishing the Women's Mass Mobilization Committee of VNPT Trade Union for the term 2025-2030 with 17 members, including comrades in the Group's Board of Directors, VNPT Trade Union and grassroots trade unions in units and localities.

Within the framework of the conference, after the delegates listened to a number of thematic contents such as: "VNPT Women pioneers in innovation, accompanying the implementation of Strategy Resolution No. 3953 of the Party Committee of the Group" exchanged by Member of the Member Council of the Group Hoang Kim Binh; "The role of female employees in building and spreading VNPT Culture" shared by Deputy General Director of the Group Tran Thanh Thuy.

Next, the conference entered the workshop program "Promoting the role of VNPT women in the digital age". This is an opportunity for delegates to exchange, share experiences and propose solutions to continue to promote the role of VNPT female staff in the new period - how to both increasingly affirm their role and position in work, and at the same time make positive contributions to the development of families and society; how to make each female staff not only improve their professional capacity and continue to maintain their role - but also need to know how to control emotions, maintain balance between work and life...

Delegates at the Workshop exchanged openly about the presentations of some units and localities such as: Post Office Hospital Trade Union with the topic "Taking care of physical and mental health for female employees; VNPT VinaPhone Trade Union with the topic "Deploying the emulation movement "Good at work, good at home" in the new situation"; VNPT Hai Phong Trade Union with the topic "Developing VNPT women in the digital age"...

Solutions to achieve the goals in the coming period

The report presented by VNPT Trade Union Vice President San Thi Binh shows that the results of VNPT's women's work in the period 2020-2025 achieved many positive results: over 90% of female employees participated in training programs to improve their qualifications; the rate of women participating in the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of trade unions at all levels reached nearly 33%; 100% of units in the Group have issued policies that are more beneficial to female workers than the provisions of law; maintained periodic health and specialist check-ups for over 90% of female workers; 100% of units have built annual plans on gender work and the progress of women. The above results have contributed to affirming the role and position of VNPT women - creating an important foundation to continue to promote the potential, intelligence and contributions of female workers in the new development stage of the Group.

Entering the 2026-2030 period, the digital transformation era opens up many new opportunities as well as challenges for the role and contribution of female workers, so VNPT's Women's Affairs in the coming time has set a common goal to: Promote the role, intelligence and bravery of female officials, union members, and VNPT employees; improve the quality of life, create a positive working environment, contributing to building a sustainable development Group in the digital age. In which, striving for the VNPT women's happiness index to increase by 7.5% - from 7.15 points to about 7.69 points by 2030; 100% of VNPT women are trained and have the ability to effectively apply digital skills in work; at least 30% of initiatives and creative solutions have women participating or presiding over them; every year 88% of female union members or more achieve the title "Good at state affairs, Good at housework".

To realize the above goals, it is required that Trade Union levels and units throughout the Group synchronously implement many practical solutions, suitable to development requirements in the new period. Right at this conference, delegates also exchanged and discussed in depth about the key solutions of VNPT's Women's Work Task in the 2026-2030 period that need to be focused on implementation, which are: Improving the happiness index of female union members and employees; Developing female human resources in the digital age; Enhancing the role and position of women in the management system; Promoting emulation movements among female union members; Strengthening family activities and promoting gender equality; Spreading VNPT culture among female union members and employees.

The 2026-2030 period opens up many opportunities but also poses many challenges for the development of the Group in general, in which women's work needs to continue to be strongly innovated, taking the happiness of workers - especially female workers - as the central goal. With the spirit of solidarity, innovation and responsibility, it is believed that the team of female cadres, union members, and workers of VNPT will continue to promote intelligence, bravery, spread VNPT Cultural values and make important contributions to the development of the Group in the coming period. /.
